Lost before and now putting on like crazy!

I was always obese and then took personal training, protein diet n bla bla got me on track. I was 5'2" and weighed 180 pounds, I came down to 120 pounds. Looked very slim and good, was more energetic. And then I came to USA and enjoyed the different kinds of muffins and cakes.. Lol And now I am on my way to earn all that I lost.. I'm now 147.. Feels bad to see the scale going as it scares me. I'm not regular to the gym and I'm a vegetarian. In my country (India) most ladies at my height and weight would be 120 pounds!! It's getting very difficult for me to stop eating rice and do cardio everyday :( any kind of motivation is highly appreciated!
