Can you record your steps manually without having to sync with a device? I use a simple pedometer and would like to be able to record my steps. Can we do that here?

I'd be interested to know that too!

I'm guessing by the lack of response that the answer is "it can't be done." Sigh.

I would love to be able to do that also. Does not seem fair that we can not put our steps in manually.

Manually logging steps as exercise can lead to some double counting. Your activity level includes some steps. Activity trackers can be "synced" to MFP. Trackers usually compare the stated activity level against your actual steps & credit you for the difference.

Here's a link to activity levels based on steps.....you can bump up your level to match.

You can create a custom measurement to record them. But the problem with adding them in as exercise is that MFP can't tell how long it took you to take those steps, at what intensity, if you took breaks, etc., to figure out a calorie burn.
