Can't, won't, don't want to eat... not hungry

Maybe it's my food choices and how they're prepared. I've recently (week and a half ago) gone lacto-ovo vegetarian again (religious reasons). I've tried it in the past and failed for lack of planning. But quite honestly I hate vegetables and vegetarian food unless it's prepared by someone who really knows what they're doing. I also find vegetarian to be carb heavy, such that I don't hit my protein goal (40% protein, 35% carbs, 35% fat, 1600-1800 cals.).

Around 10 am I'll have a bowl of oatmeal and a Muscle Milk shake. But for lunch and the rest of the day, all bets are off. I have two different things right now sitting on my desk, for what was supposed to be lunch. One is a homemade knock-off version of saag paneer (seasoned and spiced pureed spinach, white cheese cubes).

Because I didn't want what I brought I went to the cafeteria to get a cup of lentil soup, a small bowl of chick peas, corn and red beans to jazz up the lentil soup. Nope... still sitting on my desk. I'm about ready to toss all of it. I have cottage cheese in my cooler bag too that I don't want. I can't bring myself to eat.

What I have with me is totally unappetizing, no matter how I spice and season it. Despite the ill-effects I get from wheat, I am about ready to go grab a couple of slices of pizza. Now, THAT I'll eat. I'm holding off because of the wheat. I don't know where to go from here. :frown: Actually I may go get another Muscle Milk shake.
