I am thinking of purchasing a fitness device to partner with MFP and there are a dizzying amount on the market now. They all seem to do basically the same stuff so I'm having a hard time figuring out what would be best for me. Does anyone have a product that they did well with and would recommend? Let me know the positives and negatives. I'd really appreciate the help

Are you looking for a heart rate monitor or something like the Fitbit or what?0

lol I guess that would help huh? Fitbit is one I've looked at and the jawbone one. I would like something that has heart info, and a pedometer, maybe a calories burned feature if possible, and the sleep tracking would be good too. Basically I'm looking for something that would be the best bang for my buck.0

I personally would get a BodyMedia Fit.
The "downside" is a $8 monthly subscription is required. I personally don't miss $8 less in my bank account a month, but that is a big turnoff for many.0 -
I have the BodyMedia LINK armband and love it. It doesn't do HR, but the CORE 2 being released this fall will be smaller but still do all the same things you want including heart rate with an optional strap that can go with it. I will probably be upgrading ocne it is released.0

I love my Fitbit too, but it's not a heart rate monitor. It does track sleep and steps/miles and the One tracks stairs as well. Some people wear both a HRM and another device like Fitbit.0
