I have a jar of jam that per 100g is 59g carb, of which polyols is 56.6g.... can anyone tell me how to work out the net carbs please. Thanks

Usually you subtract fiber from carbs to figure out net carbs.0

Count half or none, there are arguments for both. I personally do none, but I only use one kind.

The issue is not all of them work the same. Erythritol is usually the one you can count as 0, provided it's not mixed with a second one. Xylitol has enough that it counts as calories, and it's one you count as half. Some of the others are higher than xylitol or somewhere between erythritol and xylitol.0 -
This jam has sorbitol as the sweetener. Thanks JPW, your link has helped greatly.0
