The recommended 8 cups of water; Is that cups as in measuring cups or as in 8 bottles or glasses of water?

That depends. Are you in Canada? They have a totally different measuring system there. In the rest of the world it's suggesting you should have 8 x 8 oz. containers of water (4 16 oz. bottles, etc) but in Canadian that's 33.814 ounces to a liter and the container sizes are wacky so you'll need a mathematician, a wizard, and a rubber chicken to do the conversions.0 -
