An unexpected small victory, maybe a big success :)

I live in Chile, in South America, so classes start in March. The school where I teach started the classes today and my class had half a day. I’m the teacher in charge of this particular group.
As a treat for the kids in my class some parents brought McDonald's food for everyone, and I thought this is weird but ok. I had my lunch waiting for me. They brought something for me as well, it was a sweet gesture, I had to eat it out of politeness. Something unexpected and amazing happened: I had never felt in that way, not wanting french-fries…ever...... But now my stomach is quite unhappy. This is a victory, I hated my lunch so much I won't crave junk in a while I think!!
These parents gave me the best thing; they made me realize how much my habits have changed without a lot of effort…
Has anyone else had an experience like that, a third party that helped you realize how much you have changed?

Lovely. I feel the same way about french fries and chips...way too salty and greasy for my digestive tract now. I experience physical pain in my stomach as they are digesting. Not fun. I'd rather have crackers or sliced cucumbers with my lunch.0

Not fun at all... I'm having tea to see if I can improve things. But I'm happy, nonetheless.0

Not a third party, but I kind of did it myself. Even though I still weigh about the same, over the last year or so my eating habits have changed, and I'm eating healthier food (just more of it!). So the last time I was having a bad day (I'm an emotional eater) I went to McDonald's and got a burger and fries...and I didn't enjoy it at all! So I'm pretty happy about that0
