1,200 to 930???

MFP asked if I wanted to update my goal settings because I have lost weight. I now weigh 207 and have it set to 2# loss per week with sedentary lifestyle. The updated calorie setting went from 1,200 to 930 net calories!!

There's a glitch at the moment, it shouldn't recommend below 1200. Stick to 1200 for now.

Why don't you calculate your BMR and TDEE and than set mfp on what you calculated ae TDEE minus 15%

MFP shouldn't be recommending less than 1200 calories. That said, the fact that it is means that you can't lose 2 pounds per week and eat at least that much. I'd suggest changing your goal to lose a little slower (1.5 or 1 pound per week) and get that calorie goal to at least 1200.

This is a known bug impacting the last release of our iOS app. This bug will be fixed in the next release of the app (v5.10).

In the meantime if anyone who has this issue logs into the website, and updates their goals through settings it will fix the issue.

Thanks for the link blankiefinder--- I did update goals through that link and it did change my calories back to 1,200 -- with an expected weight loss of 1.5#/week.

It's a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad glitch that really needs to be updated soon. Sounds like you've gotten it all sorted out, though.

Same ongoing glitch. It's bordering on dangerous. They've GOT TO FIX THIS.
