Does Fitbit require a subscription service? I'm trying to cut some monthly costs, and I don't want to purchase one if there's on going costs. Are all the fitbit services free once you buy the fitbit?

The services are free. There is an option to upgrade that has more but the basic site has everything you will need.0

They have a paid subscription but it isn't necessary. I've been using the free one for a couple of years. I did a trial of the paid and didn't feel it really was worth the price so I'm happy with the free service.0

Nope . Mine is working just fine for just the initial price, and it's really helping me keep better track of my calories and exercise. Tried the trial, too, but haven't taken the leap yet.. so far this is all I need.0
