Prioritizing my well-being

After a bad breakup I did what I think a lot of us do, I thought to myself, "what's wrong with me?" I slowly began to realize that I never developed my own self identity and placed too much importance on what others thought of me. I wasn't taking care of myself properly. I was constantly eating fast food and large portions and was caught in a sedentary lifestyle. Soon I decided it was time to take care of my mind, body, and soul. I built up discipline in food choices and an exercise regime by simply not giving myself the option of procrastinating. Setting a routine and planning ahead has made this journey so much easier because I know what to expect. I can say that we are all stronger than we think we are, we just have to believe in ourselves! My weight loss journey since December 2014 has included another 11 pounds down so now I'm just 5 pounds away from my goal and I'm so excited to share this accomplishment!
