It doesn't have any added weight loss benefits, but it can help you meet your protein goals if you're having trouble.
I have one maybe every couple of days when I'm having a carb-heavy day to help me meet my macros.0 -
It'll help meet your protein goals. Do you know what protein brand you wanna by? If I may, I'd like to suggest Trutein. Tried it back in 2011 and haven't looked back since.0

Trutein is next on my list to try. I've heard a lot of good things about it.
I hate the brand I'm using now. I can't wait until it's all gone.0 -
i was thinking i need to avoid the ones that make you gain weight at all costs

I find it extremely difficult to hit my macros without a couple protein shakes a day.0

Protein shakes will not make you gain or lose weight. Calorie deficit for weight loss, calorie surplus for weight gain, is all that matters. Although getting enough protein is important for satiety and retaining muscle mass during weight loss.0 -
Baked fish, chicken and eggs are great sources of protein. Chicken on a salad for lunch, and fish with steamed vegetables for dinner for example. Protein shakes are great for a quick post workout fix. I use all max isoflex, it mixes well and doesn't contain sugars. It has 27g of protein per serving. Too much protein however is not good for your body.

Losing or gaining weight is all about CICO. I have a protein shake almost every morning and it fits into my calorie allotment and helps me meet my protein goal.0

Protein shakes are like any other food item. There's no weight loss/gain/maintenance benefit from them. They're only there to help you reach your protein intake.
The only two brands I'd recommend myself would MTS and Cellucor. (MTS Cookies and cream, Creamy Red Velvet, and mint cookies and cream are so Damn good)
Although i have like 6 5lb tubs of whey I use it sparingly cause I easily hit 180g of protein through whole foods alone in a day.0
