I have when I have been in the mood for it. Not bad, I may have it once a year. You can do anything with it. I like curry chicken salad.:bigsmile:0

I use it to make buffalo chicken dip when I am desperate.0

I drain & dump it on a salad as my protein.
I also use like tuna salad w/some low fat mayo & seasonings.0 -
There's a recipe somewhere on here for a tortilla soup using only canned items. It called for canned chicken which I was really skeptical of, but I made it and it turned out amazing! Still don't know if I would use canned chicken for many things, but in soup it's good
Edit: Found the recipe

I like the Great Value (Walmart) brand better than the others. I keep a can or two around. I'll add a couple of ounces to my Lean Gourmet dinners, as they are a little short on meat.0

I use canned chicken for this as well:

I'll admit being snobby about canned chicken. Not because I am or have every been rich. It was one of those things I grew up on and hated it in most things beyond chicken salads. I guess why I still buy canned tuna and not canned chicken is fresh chicken can get pretty cheap. A whole chicken is usually pretty cheap in my area, but fresh tuna is expensive. I just have never thought buying canned chicken was worth the little savings. Roasting a chicken is just too good in comparison in my eyes, but not everyone wants to put in the hour to do that. I guess if time is an issue use canned but make sure the recipe can cover up the tin can taste.0

Just stocked up. It's hurricane season! Other than that, I avoid it like the plague. I have used it in an easy chicken salad.0

It's great. I make a chicken salad with it:
2 cans of chicken
8 stalks of celery, chopped into 1/4" pieces
40 grapes, halved (you can add more or less)
1 c. of mayo (I go with the olive oil kind)
a handful of walnut pieces
garlic salt (to taste)
a couple squirts of sriracha
Simply mix it all together. Make sure the chicken is well drained. You can play around with ingredients for macros (I often throw in another can of chicken).0 -
I've used it. I don't really enjoy it.0

I love canned chicken.I always have some on hand. I can make a super quick chicken and noodles or chicken salad or quesadilla or whatever. If I have the option of using real chicken I will. But really, it's quite tasty0

I mix it with dijonaise (5cal per tsp) for a low cal, high protein sandwich filling. It is good. Sounds weird but craisins or raisins tossed in are good as well, just up the cal content0

i use it as a filler in my ole mexican foods extreme wellness spinach wraps. also add a little sliced apple with it and its a great quick on the go meal.0
