I'm up 10lbs after a recent surgery. I'm restricted from exercising for 3 months except for walking and it won't stop snowing! Need some motivation. I'm eating way too much!

Look up chair exercises and modify anything the instructor is doing to meet your needs.
For example, if theyre doing a high intensity exercise you can either do the same just going slower or do a different exercise still using that body part!0 -
After surgery, the body needs more calories -- like above maintenance.
So be easy on yourself. You probably helped your recovery.
Go shopping for the foods and tools that you need to do well. Get rid of other stuff that does not fit into your plan.0 -
How recent was the surgery? If it was quite recent you may still be retaining some water weight, which occurs with almost all surgeries to some extent. I agree with RodaRose, your body needs the energy to heal.0

I had the same problem. I had back surgery in November and couldn't do anything other than walking. I just made sure that I ate healthy foods and walked a lot. I walked in the mall and, once I was healed enough to use it, a treadmill because of the cold weather.0
