I need some help please...Two years ago i lost 13 pounds and got down to 20% body fat and I managed to maintain this for quite some time. I put about 4-5 Pounds on recently and have been doing everything to get this back down but I cant and the weight now seems to be creeping on and im back at 25% body fat. It seems the more exersice i do the more i gain, i eat about 1200 calories per day and watch what i eat like a hawk but still it goes on! Could this be water weight?

5 pounds sent you from 20% body fat to 25%? I doubt it.
When you say you eat about 1200 calories a day, this tells me you really don't know how much you are eating. If you are gaining weight, you are eating too much (but, it doesn't look that way because your ticker says you lost 9 pounds and have 7 to go).
I see you're 28. What is your height and weight?
Do you weigh your food and log everything you eat? Do you account for exercise calories and, if so, where do you get those counts from?
Open you diary, please, so we can provide more concrete help.
As for water weight- are you close to TOM, eating extra salt, doing new exercise? Weight naturally fluctuates as well.

I agree that 5 lbs would not take you back to 25% body fat. Also, how honest are you being with your logging? Do you have a history of low calorie eating for a prolonged period of time? How are you exercising?
Finally, check out this video and see if you think that may pertain to you.

How little do you weigh that 5 pounds made the difference from 20 to 25% body fat ???0

Wow thank you so much for your replies.
I'm 5 foot 2 and weigh 120lbs (today) I've been trying to get to 112 but cannot seem to achieve this. I guess thinking about it I'm not completely accurate with my weighing. I do spinning twice and and a hiit class, should I do more? The video about is perfectly correct, think I must of ruined my metabolism on a low calorie diet.0 -
Starvation mode is a myth: http://www.aworkoutroutine.com/starvation-mode/
OP, when you say recently, how recently? Are you sure it's actual weight, not fluid retention?
If you're not tracking your food accurately, weighing etc, that's most likely your reason right there - you're eating more than you think you are. Also, those last few pounds are notorious for being the hardest to lose.0
