You gotta change it up then! I was in a slump too for a while, now I have lost 28 pounds! Set your calorie level lower, exercise more and it will come off...Keep on keeping on! I am on a 1,350 calorie diet, run a few miles a couple of times a week, bike, swim and lift weights. I walk a lot and I am back in college again at the age of 42 so I know how hard it is to get that weight off! You just gotta change things if it is not working but don't get discouraged!

    Hey there,
The thing I always try to tell people is that in my view MyFitnessPal isn't a 'program' as such, it's a way to educate yourself on how to make positive changes to how you do things. Ultimately, if you do make these changes and if you're honest with yourself and mindful of the things you consume.. You will reach your goals!

So this last year hasn't seen you at your goal? I bet that it has given you a LOT of knowledge though of things that will help you achieve your goals.

Stick with it and give it 110%, if you do this.. I see no reason for you not achieving your goals!

    Wishing you all the best.

If you gained weight you were consuming too many calories. Either you had your settings set too high, or the food info was not accurate, or you overestimated on the number of calories burned during exercise.

Why did you wait a whole year before thinking something might not be right about how you're doing it?

I've been so bummed after 2 months and no weight lost. A whole year, wow! What I do know is that regardless of pounds lost or not, I am eating healthier, more conscious of what I eat and much more knowledgeable. Stick with it and maybe revise your plan. Good Luck!

If you're not losing, you're not in a deficit.

If you give up now all you will accomplish is starting over again someday. I'm certainly no expert but if you are logging your food (and I mean every bite) and getting some exercise maybe you need to change your routine? Don't give up the only person you will let down is yourself!

    Try.
    Fail.
    Learn.
    Try again.
    Fail better.
    Learn.
    Try...

Never stop learning, never stop trying... and you WILL succeed.

Ok, now that my take on a rah-rah speech is over...

Log EVERYTHING, every day. If you haven't been weighing your solid/dry food, start. If you haven't been measuring your liquid food, start.

Get out and move... I have no idea if you exercise or how much... if you don't... start small and build slowly every week. If you do, start building time/intensity.

Don't eat all your exercise calories.. Aim for half.
