This will be a challenge as I've never counted kjs or calories before. Gotta get my head around what I can eat. Wish me luck.

You will learn what size portions of foods you can afford within your defecit / maintenance limits - don't knock anything out, because no food is bad.

Id suggest just learn how to log your food and get an idea of what you are eating by weighing and recording before you start cutting things out. 1-2 weeks should help you understand what you normally eat and how much you will have to moderate portions or alter your diet.0
