coming back from injury

Hi,
so I recently sprained my ankle, well yesterday, as i went over on it playing squash. Hisnisndoubkey annoying as this week has been a bit of an off week food wise so i had been hopingnto make sure my exercise was on point to help too many bad side effects but I know it's inevitable that some weight will go on this week.
Once the swelling has all gone down, would you take it easy for a bit? Or just go back to normal routine? I'm just annoyed as i've just got my fitness level bavk to where is was after being ill for 2 weeks over christmas. I normally do 1 spin class and 1 pilates class a week, 2 days at the gym doing a bit of cardio (5 min run, 5 min stairmaster amd 4 min rower) and then weights, 1 day arms and 1 day legs. On the day i do pilates i'll normally do some cardio before and i try to go for a run one day a week.
I dont want to cause any more injuries so will wait until all the swelling has gone and i gave a full range of movement back but don't want to recover then re injury it nor doni want to lose all my current fitness as i've been working hard to do a 7 min 30 sec mile. (Currently just short keep hitting 7 min 33!!)
