Quinoa burgers
This was my first attempt at making these and I was really pleased with how they turned out!

I used:
50g uncooked quinoa
1/2 cup of baby spinach
A sprinkle of flax seeds
1 medium egg

These are very basic as I didn't want to get to adventurous on the first go!
-boil the quinoa for around 20 minutes or until fully cooked
- drain and cool, whilst cooling cook the spinach
- Add all ingredients in a bowl mix, then shape your burgers (mine where quite stick to do so, so I ended up with balls)
- Fry you burgers on either side until golden brown ( I put them in one at a time as they were so sticky)

Please let me know any good additions to put in my burgers

  • Zi would add some garlic, onion, and took on broth over water formore flavour. Maybe even some black beans
