Clothing Exchange

Hello! Wondering if people would be interested in starting a clothing exchange. Whether you are losing weight or gaining, we all know buying new clothes (especially pants) every time our weight fluctuates, can get very expensive. I am normally a size 9-11 but recently gained weight and had to buy 4 new pair of pants. It was over $100! Now that I am trying to lose weight again, I will not want to turn around and buy new jeans in a few months.

This would be a free service and we can have the recipient provide a prepaid shipping label (which can be done easily online).

I personally am looking for help with pants and dresses in the 10-12 size range. And I have a ton of jeans in the 9-11 (juniors) and 8 (womens) size range that I would be willing to let go of.

:)

Im losing and trying to alter my favorite clothes. I find my self also going to 1/2 price thrift store days. Love some of the cute stuff others didn't even wear.

I don't think anyone would want my old clothes. I wear them till things are thread bear and have been tacked, pinned, or otherwise altered. Broke law student...yay!

However I do a lot of shopping at consignment shops. I refuse to buy fabulous new jeans at retail until I hit goal. Just an alternate idea in case you can't find someone close by to swap with.

    Grats on the loss!

Thank you for responding everyone! I will go through the clothing I have tonight and try to get some pictures. I know I have around 5 pairs of nice work pants and plenty of jeans that no longer fit me. I will keep you all updated. In the mean time, if anyone has clothing, please post pictures if you can. :)

You should check out vinted or a similar app! I've done a few swaps on there and had great success! I'm a big thrifter also.
