To buy as a gift, HRM or FitBit?

Gift for my MIL, I'm torn between the Polar FT4 or FitBit Zip. She likes my HRM but I think what she wants is a FitBit (because she would be able to wear it all day and get an estimate of calories burned).

If you had a choice, what would you want to receive as a gift?

I should also add while she has a PC - it's old, sort of works, and they still have dial up internet access.

    Personally, I have both and I use the fitbit a lot more than the HRM, so it's what I'd prefer

    Use my FitBit everyday - my HRM rarely. My only concern would be the lack of computer - you need the computer to sync it (unless she has a newer iphone - but I'm guessing dial-up means no smart phone).
