calories in avocados

all the avocados in the data base just say "one avocado" or "one medium avocado".
thats so vague. i did a google search to try to find out calories per ounce and got several different answers. does anyone know?

    When I search, the first option is Avocado - raw. It has a drop-down menu of serving sizes. In that menu is oz, grams, cups, and a whole list of other things. Just pick whichever one you used to weigh or measure your avocado.

    huh... "avocado- raw" didnt show up on mine. ill go check again maybe its towards the bottom of mine? hmm. thanks !

    use the plural form (avocados-raw) - that will get you the USDA entry

    I just typed in avocado and that was the first option. Maybe you accidentally misspelled it?

    The search function isn't very smart. Make sure you have a space after avocado since it sees "avocado - raw" and "avocado- raw" as very different search entries.
