What Elliptical do you use at home?

Hello!
I am debating buying an elliptical to use at home in the morning before getting ready to go to work since the closest gym is 30 minutes away for me. I'm really hoping to make a large dent in my weight loss before I go on Vacation in September.
I was wondering if you have an elliptical at home, what brand/model is it and what you would list as it's pro's and con's, as well as it's cost.
Thank you!!
Michelle

Sole E55, I love it! The wheels fit in the tracks better than other brands, eliminating wear and tear. The only downside to this model, it is a plug in.0

I own an old one, so I won't list make and model. However, once you get used to a commercial gym quality machine,a home quality machine feels cheap and rickety. I thought mine was fine until I got used to better.0

I have a Proform, but I don't know the model. I have bought (and taken back) numerous ellipticals! I HATED the Sole one I tried. I love my Proform. It has ifit (I have never used that feature) and it can fold up for moving or storage. I think it cost around $4-600.0

Let me add that I am 5'3.5" so any elliptical I use, the pedals need to be closer together for it to feel natural for me.

I love my Bowflex Max Trainer. It is like an elliptical, stepper, arm resistance all mixed in one. It takes a while to build up your endurance and has several programs to choose from as your strength increases. I could only do about 5 minutes max and have now increased to 25 minutes with about 360 calories burned each time. It's pricy, but very compact and worth the $.0

I have a four year old Sole E25 that cost about a grand, and I may have purchased it through the company or Amazon. I can't remember which, but one offered free shipping and that saved me another $100 or so. I am 5'8" and love mine better than the ones at the gym! It feels sturdier to me, maybe because the fly wheel is in the front instead of the back. It has several different programs that you can choose from to do (fat burning, cardio, manual, interval, strength, hill, and two user defined programs.) I did have to put it together when it arrived, basically it was in four pieces that needed to be assembled. That part didn't take long with the help of a friend. For me, the only drawback is that I can't fold it up. But, I have a fitness room that has other equipment so it isn't a deal breaker for me.
When I don't want to go to the gym, I will at least put in a mile on the elliptical and sometimes a 5k if I am in the mood to get my heart pumping.0 -
Thank you guys so much! I'm kinda trying to avoid spending a bunch on money on one but I've read and heard just about every where that you get what you pay for, so the cheap ones tend to wear down quicker. I am just trying to convince myself the investment will be worth it in the end to have a piece of equipment in the next room to use at my convenience0
