Hypothyroid Meds

I have been on synthetic synthroid for a few years. My doctor is finally letting my try armour. Has anyone had any positive result on armour?

    I have never heard of armour, but I am on levothyroxine. I had my thyroid removed two years ago due to thyroid cancer. My body adjusted really well to the medicine and my tsh levels are always good. Keep us posted on how it works for you. Good luck.

    You have three treatment options:
    • Synthroid (levothyroxine)
    • Synthroid + Cytomel (liothyronine)
    • Armour (desiccated animal thyroid glands)

    Thyroid meds (just like weight loss) takes a whole lot of trial & error to find what works for you.
