HRM /Calorie counter Watch workout, WTH????

OK, so got a New Balance heart rate monitor/calorie counter for workouts.. Did about an hour crossfit class followed by a chest heavy weight lifting day.. Im 6'3 308lbs, I push myself in the gym very hard but it says I burned 1583 calories?? Are any of these watches/chest bands accurate?? Cant believe its possible to burn that, just don't believe it.. I hit my calorie deficit daily and Im stalled on weight loss.. If I was burning calories like this Id be losing a lot of weight each month!!!

I have a New Balance heart rate monitor too, and that seems very high but maybe accurate for your weight and height. Mine usually always has a lot lower number than the machines at the gym, but I heard that the machines at the gym aren't very accurate. I also know that at least mine is meant for running so that might play into it. I am sorry for rambling so much, but I hope this might have helped at least a bit. :ohwell:
