I am 5'4" tall and was ~225 lbs in the before picture and 165 lbs in the after. I lost about 30 pounds 5 years ago, putting me at about 195 lbs and then kind of stayed at that weight until September of 2014 when I restarted my journey and have lost the next 30 lbs since then. I have about 35 pounds to reach my goal and am 100% confident that I will succeed! :D

    Congrats to you both!

It's amazing to me. I've seen a lot of before and after photos and what catches my eye is how much younger we look when we achieve a healthy weight and nutrition. Our skin clears and glows, we smile, our posture straightens, and our eyes look brighter.

    Good job!

The first picture was taken in August 2013, the last in January 2015. I'm not nearly done. I've lost almost 40 pounds (started at 243) and want to lose another 50....I love this progression at my interim goal.

Great job to both of you...and I agree with the post about how weight loss makes you look younger...It's, also, much better for your health to be at a good weight...My health is what is motivating me on this particular journey...

    Here's mine:

ETA: Since you can't see what I wrote on IG. Yeah, it's a 22# loss in 3 years but I maintained my weight for over a year within a few pound range without logging. And I lift weights, I run, I ski, I took krav maga, I tried rock climbing (enjoyed but scheduling got in the way). I'm stronger, faster, and more confident because of my running and lifting than I was 3 years ago. I wear a size 2-4 because of my lifting. I'm back to logging to achieve faster running times not because I'm upset about being 150# - which is 10# up from my low weight of 140# - but that was achieved through cardio alone. I feel and look better at 150# because of lifting. I'm 5'7" also
