Pounds lost or Body fat % calculator?

Hey ya'll :-)
Which one of the two do you go for to see whether you're losing weight or not? I have been hitting the gym for almost 2.5 weeks now and had a good diet and have lost only 5 pounds. It kind of makes me disappointed, but I read people saying that trust your body measurements. What are your thoughts on it? P.S. : WHAT IS THE BEST BODY FAT PERCENTAGE CALCULATOR OUT THERE?
I have checked out 2 online, and they gave me totally different results. :)

#5 in 2½ weeks is VERY good! the way my clothes fit are my best indicator
I have calipers and a scale that supposedly measures body fat % - I still go by the way my clothes fit

For me, I could care less about weight because I am only trying to lose fat. I want to keep my muscle. Since muscle is lean and tight, the more you have, the less weight you need to lose. In reality, I rather have a 6 pack at 180 lbs than skinny at 160 lbs to comply with a weight chart. The fat2fit bodyfat calculator isn't bad but I would just measure inches and take pictures. Also, I would aim for 1 - 1.5 lbs per week and do some heavy weight training; this way you maximize strength gains and minimize muscle loss.

I bought a fairly cheap weight watchers scale ($15, I think) that measures body fat by electrical inductance. The numbers are moderately accurate, but fairly consistent. It's been the easiest way that I have found to track changes in body fat percentage, which is the number I am most interested in at this stage of the game. I've lost most of the weight and am now focused more on toning up than on gross weight loss.
