so At my heaviest weight I was 250 lbs on a 5'3" frame.
I initially started with my calories at 1500 a day with a calories burn on 500 a day. I do cardio (3-4 mile walks sometimes up to 6 miles) for about 1 1/2 hrs a day about 5-6 days a week. I am now down to 231. I've started adding in light weight lifting 2-3 times a week.
i'm starting light on my weight and slowly increasing a 1-2 lbs every 2 weeks. I am wondering if I need to lower my calorie intake, or stay where i am at. So far I feel good on 1500 calories, but on occasion feel like i want to eat more. am I eating too much or too little?
I have a little over 100 lbs to lose to meet my healthy weight requirement and am not sure how to adjust things now that I am losing weight? my friend thinks i need to reduce my calorie intake the more i lose weight and he suggests reducing my calories to 1200 and maintaining my exercise. That seems to me like I would be in "starvation mode" and would hinder my weight loss.
anyone have any ideas on whether i should be lower my calories or maintaining where i am at?

MFP will recommend lower calorie targets as you lose. You haven't lost enough yet to trigger it. But I th will only adjust in around 50 calorie increments. Not 300- that's far too big.0

I think you are in a sweet spot right now. Enjoy it as long as you can.0
