Real-talk, do whatever you want. Screw people who don't find it appealing, you're not doing it to please them. Run for yourself. If people don't like it, they don't have to look. The point is you're bettering yourself by getting off your *kitten* and that's all that matters. Excess hair isn't a big deal, you have no need to feel self-conscious about it, it's totally normal.0

back hair on a man is like underarm hair on a woman...of course you are technically allowed to have it but nobody likes to look at it and only the fringe members of society have it(hippies/granola types)
I love women with armpit hair. Too bad they are usually also usually the ones who go on and on about Monsanto.0 -
My husband is nearly hairless and beautifully caramel toned. However, my boyfriend is very hairy front and back...I love their differences but it bothers him so he waxes it. I say do what feels good. I do.
Ok This is gross!!! And I'm not talking about hair or no hair. Selfish!!! :noway:
Op if you would be totally aware of it and be stressed out I would say don't only because it could mess up your run. But I don't think its a big issue, if someone doesn't like it it wouldn't bother me at all if I saw you on the street! Good luck! :flowerforyou:0 -

Guess open marriage is unheard of at your part of the world.0 -
Depends on HOW hairy a back we're talking about. Will running make the hair on your back fling sweat as you run by? If so, then no.0

Heck yeah you can OP. Don't give in to the feminization of men that advertisers have put in place over the last decade or two.
I remember a time when Tom Selleck and Sean Connery were manly ideals. Now the girliest "men" (Bieber, various boy bands) are thrown at us as the standard to aspire to.0 -

Ah the good old days when men actted manly and it was cool. Rock a badass stache like Selleck and some how you are labeled a 70's pornstar.0 -
How come men are allowed to run shirtless, yet when we do it is "indecent exposure"?
No fair.
If you do go for a run shirtless, do put on lots of sunscreen. Shoulders burn fast!0 -

Do it! I prefer men to look like men, facial hair, back hair, who cares? If I wanted to date a man that was smooth and feminine and looked like a woman I'd date a woman. Or a teenage boy. XD Do what you want!0

Stop the hair shaming.

In the UK (where I live) it isn't legal. Not that I would want to walk around with no top on, all sorts of creepy men staring at you. But still, bit of a sexist law.0 -
If it makes you feel any better: It has been ten years since I have worn a shirt and the shirt actually be in contact with my torso. When I take a shower, I simply turn silver from all the water tension. Likewise, when I jump into any pool of water, I simply float on top, like a leaf or insect. I once dated a female Klingon officer who liked like the hair during mating. Once I told her her forehead was too smooth for me, "being picked up by the fuzz" had entirely new meaning. Some people have told me I look like Russel Brand and Robin Williams gave birth to a giant walnut.0
