Has anyone not been able to eat up to the required amount of calories per day? What was the outcome?

I drank so much water today and I've tried my possible best to eat up to 1200 calories today but yet I can't eat up to that because i'm so full with water. What should I do? I don't want my body to go to the starvation mode as I really need to lose weight. When I finished logging in my foods today, it said

*Based on your total calories consumed for today, you are eating too few calories. Not only is it difficult to receive adequate nutrition at these calorie levels, but you could also be putting your body into starvation mode. Starvation mode lowers your metabolism and makes weight loss more difficult. We suggest increasing your calorie consumption to 1200 calories per day minimum.

So what do I do as I'm very very full?
