calories question

Hey guys, my recommended calorie intake by MFP is 1450 a day, but ive always heard that anything under 1500 is bad. Also, at my size (210 pounds) that seems low. I have no problem eating that little (feel free to look at my diary and give me food tips! :P) but im worried my body might go into "starvation mode". Note: im not working out right now because one of my ankles and one of my wrists is messed up, so right now im focused on diet. Please get back to me with anything you know!
