Confused

So I've been reading a few forums and I'm pretty confused about the way I should be logging walking and exercise. As of now my activity level is at sedentary - but I track my steps and will eat back "exercise" calories MFP automatically adjusts because I assumed that means I surpassed the sedentary calorie limit. Is this wrong? Should I not link my step tracking to MFP to avoid being misled by those extra calories - and then only log actual exercise?

Are you losing weight? If so keep doing things the way you have been, if not, try removing the steps.
This is a game of trial and error.0 -
If it's set up correctly, then I think that's right.0

You are doing it correctly. That said, there is no true "right or wrong" way to do something, it's whatever works well for you. So if you're losing weight at a good pace then keep on doing what you're doing.0

Okay thank you - I'll try this for another week or so and see how it goes!0
