I am a 54 year old female and currently weigh a whopping 413 pounds. I'm eating less than the 2170 calories per day suggested by Fitness Pal and still gaining weight. I'm eating low carbohydrate, exercising (swimming) 3 times a week for one hour and still gaining weight. I have had everything checked out with the doctor - nothing wrong with my thyroid etc.... Please help!!!

Are you really logging every single thing that you are eating?
Butter/Oil that goes in meals or on a slice of bread? Think back over the last 2 or 3 days and recheck your diary. Can you say 100% that there is nothing that you ate that isn't on that list.
If you are sure you have captured everything then prehaps you are getting more calories burnt from the exercises than you are actually doing.
I can't see your diary, but are you selecting the correctly level of "swimming".

Weight loss is simply down to using more calories than you consume. If you are putting on weight you are consuming more than you are using.

Every single persons body works on that princple.
