For some reason, my Fitbit steps won't show up on my fitness pal. It just says zero steps. I've tried unlinking and linking them back together with no change. I've tried synching both multiple times. Nothing. Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes, it's happening to me also, i've tried the same as you - i couple of times, i've got it to sync steps but the next day it's stopped again.
