Just bought a food scale...

I just bought a food scale to log my food more precisely. I was surprised that a banana that I would consider a medium banana is actually nearly 2x the serving size that MFP has listed. Are there any foods that you were logging wrong or are surprised by?

When I first started I came into issues with any sort of fruit. What a medium apple to me is a large to some. Chicken breasts, too.
What is really frustrating is to find things like maybe cubed chicken breasts listed in cups. So much room for error there. MFP has gotten really good about having base entries for so much stuff with any kind of measurement options you might need.

Fruits & veggies were my big surprise. MFP and I have very different ideas about what a "medium" sweet potato looks like.

    Cereal and nuts, always.

I was also overestimating cheese, yogurt, and cottage cheese.

Yep. I just had cottage cheese and pineapple and was overestimating my cottage cheese serving size as well.

Most surprises have benefited me and I could have more, but I was surprised how much chicken breast weighs. Sweet potatoes are also heavier than I thought even when I try to get smaller ones
