Hi. I'm trying to track my Protein / Fat / Carbs in percentages of calories. How can this be displayed? It seems that calories can not be changed into grams on MFP and unsure what unit the protein, carbs, etc are displayed in. Is there any easy way to do this? I'm seeking 195g of calories with 78g protein, 78g carbs, remaining 39 in fat.

Your entire calorie goal cannot be listed in grams because fat is 9 calories per gram while protein and carbs are 4 calories per gram. They would have to have equal caloric value in order to say that X calories = X grams. You can only say that X grams of fat = 9X calories, X grams of carbs = 4X calories, and X grams of protein = 4X calories.

If you want to be able to set your nutrient goals by gram, you could install a JavaScript bookmarklet like this one in order to let you customize things. (That one lets you choose to set them by percentages or grams.) I've never done it on a phone but I use the one on Chrome on my PC. Your goals page ends up looking like this when you go to customize.

Gram is a unit of weight. Calorie (or kilocalorie) is a unit of energy.

    Approximate Calories consumed = (grams Carbs x 4 Cals/gram Carbs) + (grams Protein x 4 Cals/gram Protein) + (grams Fat x 9 Cals/gram Fat) + (grams Alcohol x 7 Cals/gram Alcohol)

    Approximate Calories = (78g Carbs x 4) + (78g Protein x 4) + (39g Fat x 9) + (0g Alcohol x 7)
    = 312 + 312 + 351 + 0
    = 975*

    By percentage:
    100% Calories = 975/975
    32% Carbs = 312/975
    32% Protein = 312/975
    36% Fat = 351/975
    0% Alcohol = 0/975

*Note: minimum recommended Calories for females = 1200 Calories/day
