Sugar goals

Any advice on how to manage sugar? Everything has sugar. No matter how well I am eating, the app tells me I am over my 57 grams of sugar. For example, I am eating a salad with no dressing, but lots of fruit and veggies. I'm guessing the fruit makes it too much sugar. Should I still be worried about it, or should I really be looking out for added sugars?

Nope, don't worry about it. It can't differentiate between sugars naturally in foods (like fruits, veg, dairy) and added sugar. But I think the total it recommends is pretty low. Most people ignore it. I certainly would not curb my eating of nutritious foods based on it!0

You can change your diary settings to track different things. Since you already track carbs, I'd suggest tracking something more meaningful than sugar, perhaps calcium or iron.0
