No appetite after working out!

Can anyone explain this? On my way home from work I will often have a carby starchy craving. I go to the gym straight aftwards and do an hour of cardio and 20-30 minutes of lifting. Immediately post workout my appetitie is surpressed for about an hour. When it returns, my cravings have switched to meaty protein ones. Why the change in cravings?
