im trying to lose weight i eat healthy drink lots of water and exercise 6 days a week, i like to use the tread mill daily but the Trainer at my gym said to not Do cardio everyday. Why?

You'd have to ask him, but typical daily treadmill work isn't super time efficient in terms of calories burned, body composition, or cardio improvement. That said, I hope he was trying to get you to replace it with something better rather than simply asking you to stop moving.0

He might have meant that some days you should do weights instead. Or he might have simply been saying not to push yourself too hard and to give your body a break now and then!0

If your trainer is the one that told you this you need to ask him/her. That being said any type of exercise is generally better than none so if you dig the treadmill do the treadmill.0 -
he probably wants you to incorperate some weight lifting?
make sure you are logging correctly and sticking to your calorie goal
