After workouts

Does it matter whether you eat a protein bar or drink a shake after workouts? I workout at night and am up and down all night after drinking my shake. I thought maybe a protein bar would be better. Thoughts?

Just my opinion, but nutrient timing and meal timing isn't important to anyone other than the elite, lean athletes. Until getting to that point, I don't think it's worth it to worry about.0
