Member recipes in the food data base

I am bothered that I can not see the contents of a member submitted recipe. Without knowing what is in it, how do I know if mine matches. Example I looked for Creamed chipped beef and I found member recipe, but when I created my own recipe (didn't trust the data base) it was 100 calories more. I no longer use the member submitted recipes.

That's it, basically. You're making it yourself, you know what's in it, you're there to weigh it, so make your own recipe in MFP.

Yours will never match someone else's.

Why would you use a random entry rather than creating your own recipe?? Always always always make your own recipe entry.

When I am making food I always enter my own recipe.
