I havent used my slow cooked in ages as i usually BBQ or pressure cook ect

but i had chicken legs out lat night and CBF cooking them. i have them sitting in honey and mustard for the last 24 hours.

Tossed them in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours. NO LIQUID

Best chicken Ive made in a while.

I always use to add liquid and meat would be quite dry.

This was amazing and so soft. There was about 3cm of fat and liquid at the bottom when it was done so the chicken produces a bit of it.

from now on il be doing this method for alot of things. Little to no liquid

Nothing was burned

Sounds great! I should try it. i too have a slow cooker sitting in the cupboard and I've only used it with liquid.
    Time to dust it out!

I would always add liquid and stock ect and noticed the meat would come out dry still

After doing some reading people say to use little to no stock as no steam escpaes and the meat creates alot of juice its fine.

Will try with beef tonight in a stew. I will only put 1 tin of tomatoes so its really thick. i would usually add an extra 3 cups of stock
