Lost 40lbs so far need to lose 60 more struggling!!!

I decided about 1 1/2 months ago I was tired of being miserable and wanted to be a healthier new me! No excuses!! So I went to the doctor, he started me on a diet and now a month and a half later I'm down 40 lbs and I want to lose at least 60 more. I'm struggling because I work at a job that I constantly sit all day and talk on the phone at a call center.. Not active at all!! I have cravings like crazy still and I can't give in at all because of I do that one time to reward myself like people tell me to do I won't stop with just that one time. I'll get addicted again and keep again..I need motivation and support for sure!!! And assurance that I can get through this and that its going to be so worth it!! I have learned in past diets not to just diet but to do a life style change and not to do it for anyone but yourself!!! So it's for me but also for me baby girls!! They need they're mommy around and the way I was eating I wouldn't have lasted long!! Anyways I would love to hear anyone's advice and or success stories please tell me all about it!! Thank you!!

    :) I am new but I sure will try to cheer u on. I am am giving it my best. I stopped smoking gained weight now they say I am a diabetic. I am hoping if I can loss 50 pounds I will get off the meds.

    First of all welcome.... congrats on your awesome loss so far! You can do this... it WILL all be worth it.... Now... for the important stuff. Once upon a time I lost a bunch of weight and got within 13lbs of my goal... sounds like doing it much the same way you are doing now cutting out all the yummy good stuff that I wasn't "supposed" to have. I was doing 95% cardio and just stopped losing. So, what happened? I got tired of not seeing results and went right back to what I was doing and gained it all back. Moral of the story... 40# in 1 month is a lot. Sounds like you're probably going WAY extreme to lose that weight. My advice is adopt an 80/20 approach. Be good 80% of the time and allow yourself to indulge now and then. For me, I can't buy a bag of chips because I'll eat them all. But, I can buy a little snack bag of chips for when I have a craving. It's all about finding little tricks that work for you. No plan will work for every person on this earth but I will tell you that if you deny yourself all the things you like... you will fail eventually. Eat pie... eat pizza... pasta... chips... soda.... starbucks. Whatever it is. Just not everyday. Not a whole pie... you get the picture. Good luck and feel free to add me! :)
