You with HRMs - bodyweight circuits > machine cardio for burns, yes?

I am pretty sure that I used to burn WAY more doing intense timed bodyweight circuits (like Zuzka Light) than I am now on the bike (even doing intervals) and elliptical. Wondering if anyone with some kind of monitoring device other than a scale can confirm.

They were more fun, too.

HRM are only for steady state cardio, not circuits or interval training.

Ok, I did know that, you're right. I do think the bodyweight workouts (e.g. jump lunges, burpees, for reps/time) are harder than machines, though. Not that I can do them now, but they seemed to get results, quick.

Why don't you stick with the stuff you find fun?
