hello
I have been on my fitness pal now for about 4 weeks sticking to 1200kcal and I am maintaining weight. I came into my fitness pal as my holiday loomed. It is now 7 weeks away. I ideally wanted to lose 10lb when I started I still would like to but it's proving impossible I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any help would be really appreciated. I am 150lb at the min ( give or take) I want to be 140lb I got to 134 last year for my holiday through a lot of excercise and doing the 5:2 diet. I am considering going back on the 5:2 to see if that makes a difference. Any help would be great

Can you open your food diary? You'll get more specific advice that way. Have you been logging consistently, every bite, every day, and using a food scale? Are you eating back exercise calories, and if so, how are you measuring calories burned from exercise?
ETA: If you are not losing weight you are probably eating more than you think, or burning less than you think. The 5:2 diet helps some people stay in a caloric deficit, but it won't be any more effective if you are not logging accurately.0 -
All I can tell you is that the last 10 pounds are the hardest to lose and you probably can't expect to lose more than .5 pounds per week. The other themes that come up repetitively on the forums with those who can't lose are these- are you logging accurately, do you use a food scale for everything except liquids, are you eating back only about half of your exercise calories??0

If you're eating at a caloric deficit, the only thing I can suggest is to get in plenty of cardio. Maybe 5 days a week at least 30-45 minutes.0

Yes I use a food scale to log accurately (drives my partner crazy!)
I will try and open my diary0
