open diary for suggestions

Hi all,
I've recently come back to MFP after a few years away and wanted to open my diary for suggestions! I have crohns which can make eating things like meat, dairy and breads quite difficult- so ideas for protein other than fish and beans would be great. I go to the gym about 3/4 times a week and do strength training with some interval stuff and some cardio too. As I was in hospital with my bowel for two weeks on some serious meds and off work for five, I'm now off work again I'm coming out of the flare and want to get my body strong and lose the excess weight I put on whilst ill.

Can you have lactose-free dairy? This would open up your options in terms of milk, cheese and yoghurt.
Other options could include:
Tofu
Nuts and seeds
Peas
Soya yoghurt
Eggs / egg whites
There are also dairy-free protein powders available which may help you supplement your protein intake. Options include rice, hemp and soy.0
