IBS and weight loss

I've hit a stall for the last 3 weeks and it's co-incided with a severe bout of IBS and post-viral fatigue (IBS is stress- related and PVF means I have no energy to exercise- I'm literally wiped out). In the last week I've had severe stomach cramps and constipation, then over the weekend I've had the opposite (TMI, sorry). It's playing havock with my weight loss goals as I've gotten really depressed and hit the chocolate (to a small degree, mostly fits with daily cal goals) - my water levels are all over the place and my electrolyte balance is out of wack. So for the last 3 weeks I've not lost any weight and that's adding to the stress and depression.

I was wondering if anyone else has delt with somethign similar or has any advice...

Thanks. WZG

Give yourself time to rest, recoup and feel better. Sounds like you've had a rough week or so. It will get better.

Both of these things suck, so I am sorry to hear you are going through all of that.

I suspect you're probably holding on to water with all your body is going through. I know the stall sucks too, they are as frustrating as hell, but just stay the course and the scales will start to move again :)

Have you tried yoga? I had PVF the second half of last year. I started doing yoga (via YouTube - Yoga With Adriene) and I swear it helped me so much and gave me more energy (gawd that sounds so woo!). She has some really, really gentle practices for those super low energy days.
