Is it okay to go above the sugar if it's still within my calories intake per a day ?
For example:
If my sugar goal is 80 and my calories are 1600 and I took 120 at the end of the day but still my calories are 1400 I haven't finished them yet .
90 % of my sugar intake is from fruits!

Does it effect my weight loss process?

It may not, if your macros and calories are on target. You're an outlier with a high fruit consumption which is why you don't fit the standard guideline. If in doubt try a couple of weeks complying with the goals and then you'll know.

Its all about cals in vs cals out. Whatever way you get those cals. Fruit sugar shows up in MFP as just sugar, no split between refined and fructose etc, if you are eating at a deficit you will lose weight. I never worry about my micros as i drink mean green juice which sends my sugars too high, but i know its good for me.
    Good luck in your journey.

I never pay attention to sugar, as long as I'm getting it from fruits and such. If you stick to your calories, and ideally your macros as well, you'll be just fine. Fruit also comes with a bunch of fiber, so the sugar affect is really not an issue.

What about caffeine? Does it really make my body gain water ?

never heard of that. Your kidneys will fix it in due course (otherwise I would be dead with my coffee habit)
  • Interesting timing for this question ... I think it largely depends on the source of the sugar. ie. fruit vs. juice.

I find if you keep it low, without compromising your fruit and veg intake of course, then it does help the process to some degree. At least for me.
