hey all,

I have been at the gym for the last 11 days in a row. Reason being is to get lost, and I kind of think the gym is better then other means of getting mentally lost. So, my body is aching and I always switch up my routine But I am getting addicted to the feeling of exercise till exhaustion. Is it to much? Love to hear your feedback

As long as i feel up to it i go. I do have days where i have no energy and just skip or go and do a light workout. The one thing i skip on no energy days is cardio.

As long as you are not injuring yourself, why not? Just do different things on different days so your body has a little time to heal and strengthen up.

Muscle is built during your rest and recovery time. If you’re hitting the same muscle groups day in and day out, eventually, you’ll suffer the effects of overtraining, which include the following fat gain (due to cortisol levels), trouble sleeping, ligament and tendon inflammation/damage, adrenal fatigue, etc.

If you’re mixing it up and some of the days are active recovery, then you’ll be fine going into the gym every day. I just don’t bother with the gym unless I’m going to really blast it, so I cherish my days off.
