What toxins do you feel are in your body right now?0

No...just no.0

Let me get this straight. Tried juicing in the pass and I want to do it again because I like the feeling of starving? Is that right OP?
You talk about how pounds gained don't matter then ask how much you will lose because you care about the pounds. Also what toxins are you trying to rid?0 -

I feel as though I need to clear my body of a lot of toxins.
I have tried juicing in the past but I failed due to the fact that I felt like I was starving.
I know some of this weight may come right back in no time and that’s totally ok I am trying to use this as more of a detox.
So my question is… about how many pounds can I drop in 12 days if I juice for bfast… small salad for lunch no dressing… juice for dinner?
No negative comments please.
Thank you in advance!
OK wait, you JUST said you don't care if the weight comes right back on so why do you need an exact calculation of how many pounds you will lose in 12 days? Our bodies aren't precise machines and even if they were you didn't give enough info to do the math.

No detox needed - that is what your kidney's are for.
What you are suggesting sounds a lot like starving yourself.. not healthy my dear.. not healthy.
If you want to eliminate bloat - try dropping all carbonated beverages and reduce your carb intake, but trying to lose a bunch of weight in 12 days by juicing and "detoxing" is pointless.0 -

That's a lolly isn't it? Not a toilet cleaning/urinal cake style product?
What do they taste like, feel like, texture in the mouth.
Sounds like people are against juicing. Is there a sticky that just had a 72 size font "NO!" So people don't have to say don't do it over and over?

Lolly is such a funny term to me. Anyways, it's a marshmallow coated in colored sugar. It tastes like a sticky marshmallow which dissolves fast with gritty sugar on it.0 -

The "Looking for a detox/cleanse" thread above used to be stickied before the board changes. It didn't really stop the threads back then, either.

Just say no to juicing. Juicing throws away most of the nutrients in food.
Get a Vita-mix instead.0 -

In fact people would actually go in there and ask for good detoxes because they don't even read the OP post.0 -

True. It was also a great spam trap. Almost always had someone trying to sell their latest cleanse in it.

Will it be whole juice (like from a vitamix, where you're eating the whole food), or just the juice & you'll throw away the pulp?
It would be healthier (and faster, and less messy) to eat the food, the whole food with the fiber & nutrients.
And why 12 days? What's magical about that?

And how is drinking juice going to accomplish that?
Nobody who's ever talked about a "cleanse" is able to answer those questions.
If your liver, kidneys, lungs, & skin aren't doing their job of excreting waste (cleaning your body of real toxins) you're going to need a lot more help than drinking juice & starving yourself.

Seriously - what will make this attempt different? Why do you expect a different result?

How many calories in that juice & how much are you drinking?
To lose 1 lb, you need to be 3500 calories below what your body needs.
The more overweight you are, the faster you can drop weight & have it be healthy. If you're close to or at a healthy weight, even 1/4 lb per week would be a victory. (But something tells me you're not worried about your health.)

From the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (the professional organization for dieticians):

And this doesn't make sense to me, from your profile:
SW: 316LBS
CW: 303.4
GW: 260
But your ticker says you want to lose 100 lb, which means your goal is 216.
Is that going to be a healthy goal for your height?
Here's a newbie help post, which has links to useful info such as sexypants, accurate logging of food, setting realistic goals, motivation, etc.
Check out a BMI chart to make sure your goal weight is healthy for your height.
This calculator will tell you not only your BMI, but how many servings of various foods to eat to maintain that weight.
If you enter your healthy goal weight from the chart above, this will help you plan your food intake.

Try blending instead of juicing, you will get alot more fiber in the mix as well as more of the nutrients that you lose in the pulp. Plus the cleanup isnt as much of a pain in the butt. That extra pulp is alot more filling and youll still get the effect youre looking for feel free to friend for support0
