% of protein/ carbs etc when trying to loose weight and train for a challenge hike

I need to know what to adjust... If anything ATM for my dietary %... I am still wanting to get down from 14 stone to about 11 to 11 .1/2 stone.and I am also going to start work on training for a major 3 Yorkshire peaks challenge hike in sept for charity. My question goes to this dilemma.I need to still loose weight...but also I need to gain proper strength to hike extreme mountains...so strength training.
The two seem to require different dietary needs... Low on carbs to diets....but high for freak training.... Higher protein for muscles... So what on earth do I gocusvon ATM?... Low or higher carbs... Higher or lower protein( and that also goes for all of these whey shakes I see for muscle training) I am swimming a fullile 3x a week..training in the gym about 2x ATM..looking to increase it.. And when weather gets better...I will be out hiking proper.
